v5.4 (January 28, 2016)
This version shuts down the Tx DAC when the TX INHIBIT feature is active. The changes improve performance of the TX INHIBIT feature when the Angelia/Orion transceiver boards are used as stand alone boards without ANAN PA or Alex filter boards present.


v5.3 (January 26, 2016)
These firmware versions fix a problem that output rf when the hardware TX INHIBIT mode is active when internal FPGA CW rf generation is also active.

The hardware TX INHIBIT input is pin 9 of the DB-25 connector on the rear panel of the ANAN-100D and ANAN-200D. Ground pin 9 to make TX INHIBIT active.

For OpenHPSDR PowerSDR users: Remember to check the Setup > Transmit > External TX Inhibit > Enable TX Inhibit checkbox to operate in this mode.


v5.2 (January 25, 2016)
This version moves the external CW input keying to user digital input #2, IO5, pin 16 of J16 (accessory jack) on the Angelia/Orion boards to fix a conflict of pin assignment with the Tx Inhibit feature of HPSDR PowerSDR.

This new CW keying input is pin 18 of the DB-25 connector on the rear panel of the ANAN-100D and ANAN-200D.


v5.1 (June 10, 2015)
This version fixes a bug in the Rx2 phase word assignments that caused random initial phase relationships to occur between Rx1 and Rx2 on power up of the Angelia board when in diversity mode.


v5.0 (April 30, 2015)
This version of Angelia firmware adds an additional CW keying option by using digital input IO4 on Angelia; pin 9 on J16 header and pin 9 on the rear panel accessory jack on ANAN-100D, to allow CW straight keying when in iambic CW mode. This change permits the use of AUTO TUNE feature of some external PAs and/or straight key use simultaneously with an iambic key paddle. The input line is debounced, KEY is low (to ground), UNKEY is high via a pull up resistor on the Angelia board.

The user should ensure that the max external voltage from the keying source should is no more than 3.3V DC when unkeyed; no external voltage is necessary.


v4.8
This version fixes Line-In/MIC Tx audio switching and improves PureSIgnal performance by changing the previous 90-degree phase shift in of the TX DAC clock in v4.7 to a 15-degree phase shift instead. The phase shift ensures reliable transfers of data to the TX DAC even if slight path-length differences exist, radio to radio, between the clock source and the TX DAC. The folder contains Angelia_v4.8.rbf, Angelia_v4.8.qar (source code archive file), and release notes.


v4.7
This version fixes spurious TX emissions exhibited on some radios. The fix implements a 90-degree shift delay of the TX DAC clock that is used to clock data into the TX DAC. This delay ensures reliable transfers of data to the TX DAC even if slight path-length differences exist, radio to radio, between the clock source and the DAC.


v4.6
This is a major update to the code that uses a new, simpler, clocking
format and completely new code for CW RF and sidetone generation.

The new code overcomes distortion of the sidetone signal at certain
frequencies that some users have reported. We have moved to use DDS to
generate the sidetone which produces a very accurate and pure tone.

We are also using some new techniques to close timing.

Whilst we have tested the code, given the number of changes, its possible
there may be a few issues we have not yet discovered.

In which case I suggest you consider this to be a Beta release and only
install if you are confident in your ability to revert to a previous
release.

Please advise your results of your testing to the group so we can rectify
any issues or advise that this release is suitable for use by all.
